๐Ÿ’กLike every month in CloudFire, April was also full of ideas and developments. Definitely Talky Time is the main protagonist: coming out of the Beta phase CloudFire has indeed officially made available the Next Generation Unified Communication service of which we are very proud!!!

Talky Time

๐Ÿฅ Talky Time is here! All the functionalities related to CloudFire's Unified Communication tool we've implemented in the past months are now officially available and active. Find them directly on our portal.

In order to make the introduction of this tool even simpler, we have removed the menu items that referred to the previous version of the service. The ๐Ÿ’ฐ lists for service providers and direct customers have instead been updated. Within Talky Time, you may now only find two sections:

  • Talky Time SIP Account where you can request and manage all activities related to phone numbers๐Ÿ“ž, domestic and international and SIP Accounts;
  • From Talky Time Direct Routing you can now monitor, create and manage integration between any business communication to the Microsoft Teamsยฎ suite via a cloud-to-cloud app.

๐Ÿ”ง Improvements and Bug Fixes - Talky Time ๐Ÿฉบ

  • Within Talky Times' Direct Routing section, we have added a dedicated synchronisation tool for Microsoft Teams users โš™๏ธ;
  • During the creation of the Resource Acccount, you can now find new statuses being displayed โœ…โš ๏ธโ›”๏ธ. These statuses will now show checks in case of error. To further facilitate the monitoring of costs, the expected amount is visible if numbers are associated with the resource account itself;
  • The domain synchronisation button was changed. A redirect to the team users page button was also added in order to perform the synchronisation of only the users;
  • An information banner ๐Ÿ“ฃ has been included for domain synchronisation. Domain synchronisation is required during the integration of Direct Routing to corporate communication. The banner has been included to alert you in case of need for a licence ๐Ÿ“‘ to complete the process;
  • The CDR activity has been implemented and improved. It now differentiates by tenant and project the reports ๐Ÿงฎ of the correct account calls;
  • Finally, we fixed ๐Ÿช„ a bug where, in some cases, the new domain activation page was shown despite the domain being already active.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Improvements

  • We went through a restyling of the dashboard ๐Ÿ“Š and of Acronis Cyber Backup's chart display when displaying cases of data loss. With the aim of giving greater visibility, we also revised the content in the dashboards themselves on the active billing plan. We've improved the visualisation of the Storage Cloud and Storage Disaster Recovery active charts with data from the current week ๐Ÿ•;
  • ๐Ÿ’ฏ To make the Acronis Cyber Backup experience even faster and more complete, we have removed the existing portal access control;
  • Improved the charts ๐Ÿ“‰ in Veeam Cloud Platform related to Disaster Recovery by adding Virtual Machine data (such as shut down CPU and RAM);
  • On Veeam Cloud Platform we've added the functionality of activation - modification - revocation of Veeam licences ๐Ÿ“œ;
  • In order to optimise the deletion of Cloud Native Apps, particularly for 3CX APPs during configuration state, a special button was added. An additional ๐Ÿ”Ž check has also been added to the front end in case of failed installation;
  • Improved the design โœจ of the Drive 4 Business service. Added the possibility to reset the password;
  • Removed the Internet and Telephony service, as well as all the objects connected to it;
  • Improved ๐Ÿ‘” grid design. In case of large text in cells, the new design allows to cut and show the full text only with a tooltip during Hoover;
  • About the support part, we added the possibility of uploading โฌ†๏ธ and downloading โฌ‡๏ธ file attachments in tickets;
  • In the ๐Ÿงฎ Cost Summary section, we reintroduced the possibility to send details of telephone traffic of a month. This feature works both for direct customers and for service providers.

๐Ÿช„ Bug Fixes

  • Veeam Cloud Platform - Advanced: fixed a bug where if Disaster Recovery and Backup Resources were in an inactive state, it was possible to reset passwords;
  • Promo &Voucher: fixed a bug in Promo and Voucher creation. Previously, when entering the date, if the field was cleared, the page would return an error then crash;
  • Marketplace: fixed a bug related to Talky Time Card's link which would redirect to a non-existent page.
