After months of study and exams, we are proud to share this goal with you: we are the first VCSP Customer and Reseller Ready certificates in the Italian territory.
This qualification consists of a set of certifications that recognize CloudFire, unlike other Veeam partners, as a provider of “as a service” off-site Backup, DRaaS and BaaS solutions, certified by Veeam Software itself, aimed at both customers and other service providers.
Over the past year, Veeam has in fact strengthened and structured a program for VAR (Value-Added Reseller) and VCSP (Veeam Cloud & Service Provider) partners with the aim of expanding and certify partners who can stand out thanks to the services offered, so as to create an ecosystem of certified partners capable of connecting the right skills to the specific needs of customers and partners in the community.
How did we obtain this certification?
The Veeam Competency Program is a program that only certifies Partners who have demonstrated high skills, through training and ago-to-market execution, so as to offer the better customer outcomes for data protection. We assure you that obtaining these certifications was not a child's play.
In order to maintain the prestige and validity that distinguish them, certifications are available only by invitation and subject to various general and technical requirements.
To obtain the VCSP Competency ready certifications, we faced a approval process divided into various parts: from the actual application to the program, to the subsequent review of the requirements, and then to the evaluation by the Veeam technical team regarding the service we offer.
In recent months we have focused on implementing the latest technical measures and we have finally obtained this important recognition.
What badges have we obtained?
This process has led us to obtain various certifications that demonstrate that, through our Veeam Cloud Platform service, we are able to provide quality services both on the customer side and for other cloud service providers.
With regard to certifications relating to customer-facing skills we have achieved:
- Off-site backup through which we facilitate the extension of the Veeam data protection solution through multiple Storage options, based on your needs, including sending the backup to an immutable repository, as well as migrating to an off-site cloud infrastructure;
- BaaS for Microsoft 365 with which we guarantee all-in-one licensing, instant provisioning, and self-service backup and recovery capabilities to protect the critical data of your Microsoft 365 tenant;
- DRaaS through which we demonstrate that we can offer a best-in-breed DR solution with Veeam Backup & Replication to ensure that customers remain resilient when the unexpected occurs.
Regarding certifications aimed at other Veeam Cloud service providers, on the other hand, the program comes into play Veeam Reseller Ready Competency, an exclusive and invitational program, which is aimed at VCSP partners to show their solutions exclusively to the supplier channel. Among these:
- Off-site backup which shows that through Veeam Cloud Platform we can offer turnkey off-site backup solutions, powered by Veeam, which however include an off-site repository with different storage options such as cloud, object storage that channel partners can resell and use as white labels;
- BaaS for Microsoft 365 which shows partners that we have an industry-leading SaaS data protection solution to protect customers' critical Microsoft 365 data, with self-service monitoring, management, and recovery capabilities;
- DRaaS which demonstrates that we provide a complete, plug-and-play Disaster Recovery as a Service solution that partners can sell and use as a white label;
- MSP Backup which finally certifies the ability to allow channel partners to take control of their customers' data protection needs on all platforms with integrated remote monitoring and management, unified billing and SLA compliance reports.
