Region MI2 on Veeam Cloud Platform is now available

Since 14 May 2025, a new region in Veeam Cloud Platform, designed for provide greater resilience, security, and flexibility in managing backups.

The new region is hosted in Datacenter Stack by Siziano, physically separated from the previous infrastructure, to offer a real option for geographically replicating data.

Veeam Cloud Platform is our BaaS (Backup as a Service) service, integrated into the CloudFire Console, which allows you to access Veeam technologies in as a Service mode, with no installations, additional licenses or infrastructure to manage.

Through a single interface, you can configure and control backup, replication and disaster recovery policies with maximum simplicity

The new Region is located in Siziano's Stack datacenter

The new region is hosted in one of the most advanced datacenters in the country, with:

• Certifications: Tier IV ANSI-TIA, ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 45001, 50001, SA 8000, PCI/DSS;
• 5 independent buildings on a 10-hectare campus
• 22 MW of electrical capacity
• Connectivity with 20 interconnected operators
