NIS2 Insight is now available

From December 5, 2024 it is available NIS2 Insights, the new CloudFire framework designed to support public and private organizations in the process of adapting to the European directive NIS2.

What is NIS2 Insight?

‍

NIS2 Insight is an integrated technical, legal and governance compliance framework designed to help companies:

‍

• understand if and how they are subject to the NIS2 regulation;
• identify compliance gaps;
• define a concrete plan for the adjustment within the established deadlines.

The path consists of 3 main steps:

‍

1. Applicability assessment: Initial check to determine if and how much the organization is within the NIS2 perimeter.
2. Gap Analysis: Technical, organizational and documentary analysis with respect to NIS2 requirements. The result is a detailed compliance report, with evidence of critical areas.
3. Implementation plan: Operational recommendations and technical roadmap to fill detected gaps, with ongoing consultancy support.

The methodology adopted is based on the standards of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, to ensure an assessment aligned with international best practices and in compliance with European standards on information security.

Why is NIS2 important?

‍

The European NIS2 Directive, already implemented by Italy, aims to strengthening the cyber resilience of critical infrastructures. It involves strategic companies, public administrations and private entities operating in high-impact sectors.

‍

Even if it is not always mandatory, it represents a concrete opportunity to improve security processes, adopt a proactive approach to risk management and protect yourself from sanctions deriving from non-compliance.
