New Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Release

The new release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud available on the CloudFire platform, it introduces several important updates: more flexibility in billing, greater transparency on costs and a fully optimized user experience.

We have worked to integrate Acronis' native news simplifying the activation process and making the platform even more consistent with operational needs by MSP, System Integrator, Software house and IT managers.

Billing mode - Solution-based: more clarity, more control

‍

The main news concerns the introduction of Solution-based in the available billing options.

‍

When activating the service on Cortex, it is now possible to choose between:

‍

• Service-based (per gigabyte) for billing that includes only the storage space consumed and having unlimited free agents available;
• Service-based (per workload) for a bill to pay for the number of protected workloads;
• NEW - for bundled billing of predefined solutions that group the different workload management services.

This new solution-based mode allows you to:

‍

• Select the really necessary functionalities in a structured way;
• Align the cost model with the solution sold to the end customer;
• Have greater consistency between technical configuration and business model.

New functionalities that can be activated, organized in an intuitive way

‍

The additional features are logically grouped during activation, so as to guide the user in choosing based on the selected billing mode. Among the features available now, you'll find:

• Geo-redundancy with integrated cost calculator;
• Remote Monitoring Management (RMM);
• Managed Detection and Response (MDR);
• Email & Collaboration Security;
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP);

Updated interface and improved dashboard

The activation, management and dashboard interface has been completely updated. The new options are:

• Organized consistently;
• Viewable with a clear and immediate status;
• Aligned with the latest CloudFire service layouts.

The user experience is therefore more uniform and intuitive, reducing configuration times and margins of error.
