Two days of pure energy, discussion and enthusiasm at the Digital Heroes Meeting than Nethesis: for CloudFire it was the first year in this community, and we can say that it was an overwhelming experience, just like the wave that inspired the theme of the 2025 edition.
The great wave of innovation: an invitation to ride change
The theme chosen by Nethesis, “The Great Wave of Innovation”, perfectly represents the spirit of the moment in the IT world: a sector in continuous evolution, made of challenges, balance and constant movement.
To ride this wave you don't need superpowers: you need vision, humanity and technical preparation. You need to know how to choose the right wave, the one that takes you far, that you can face with solid tools, with the right board and with the right partners at your side.
This is exactly where CloudFire comes in.
During the event, our message was clear: choosing the right wave makes all the difference. The big wave is not a fad: it's a force that changes the IT landscape. To ride it, you need solid, reliable infrastructure ready to grow with you.
CloudFire + NethServer8: the right infrastructure makes the difference
At the Digital Heroes Meeting we told how Nethesis partners can now host NethServer8 on a 100% Italian cloud infrastructure, certified and based on OpenStack. In fact, with Openstack as a Service you can get:
- Guaranteed scalability and performance, with dedicated and tested resources;
- Italian data centers Tier IV, ACN certificates for security and compliance;
- Direct and Italian support, without intermediaries;
- Minimum certification official to host NethServer8 on CloudFire.
To make our message concrete, we have brought a real example close to all the participants: Multilink case study, a Nethesis partner that chose CloudFire to host its NethServer8 environments in the cloud.
Multilink was the beta project that created a deep collaboration, culminating in the certification of our OpenStack IaaS as a ready and optimized platform for NethServer8.

In these two days, many professionals have come to our stand and Giulia's speech, new faces and others already known. We shared ideas, visions and future projects. And we understood that the Nethesis community is truly a 'great wave' made up of people who believe in innovation, collaboration and shared growth.
