Is the GDPR still alive? Is it really necessary? Let's talk about it with those who know!

Cloudfire Flow - episode 3

The GDPR is really useful... or is it simply theYet another box break that companies are dragging along without fully understanding its meaning?

If you've thought about it at least once, this episode of CloudFire Flow is for you and everyone disillusioned with the GDPR, those who in practice see only endless costs, problems and documents and wonder if it still makes sense to talk about them, especially now that the world is racing towards NIS2, AI Act and much more “fashionable” regulations.

Together with Andrea Barbero - Head of Corporate M&A and digital compliance at Lexchance, who lives digital compliance in the field, we want to address common doubts, disillusionments and perplexities that we all know, but which are often talked about without filters.

Does it still make sense to deal with GDPR or is it just a formal obligation that we carry with us? What if, on the other hand, it were a piece that, once fixed, makes it easier to deal with everything else? How many opportunities do we risk missing out on when we are not really compliant, from bankability to ISO paths, from partnerships to corporate credibility?

Let's not spoil the answers, because that's not the goal. We want to address these questions together, without frontal lessons, without ladd-ons and without pretending to have the truth in our pocket. Let's go into the merits, compare experiences, question widespread convictions and see what emerges from it.

CloudFire Flow is not a webinar. It's a open dialogue between professionals who want to understand if the GDPR is still needed, if we can finally archive it... or if, perhaps, we are taking away a value that could actually make fun of us.

If you want to join the debate, we are waiting for you.
