Say welcome to the new version of Cortex๐Ÿ’ฅ

We promised a return from vacation with important new features on the platform. As of today, they are all available!

You will find Cortex looking fresher and more intuitive than before, with an improved user experience that puts the spotlight completely on the user. We have applied several changes to navigation tools that will in fact make it easier for you to find answers to your needs.

๐Ÿ“ New enrollment procedure

We have updated the method used to sign up for the Cortex portal. From today on, it will be easier and faster to sign up for the platform. More specifically, you can simply use an email address or social account to complete your Account.

๐Ÿšค New navigation: Cortex gets split in 3

โ€

As of today, Cortex is divided into 3 separate portals. In each of them you will find features you are already familiar with and others that are new. In relation to the characteristics of your user you will then have access to:

  • Account Manager: a portal dedicated entirely to account management ๐Ÿ“‘ Includes all features and information related to your master data, your users, the prices charged to you, invoices, and a dedicated section from which to request support and assistance;
  • Partner Portal: an entirely dedicated to partners portal ๐Ÿงฎ. If you are a partner, you will now have an ad-hoc space to manage your customers and your price lists, as well as the ability to change the portal branding;
  • Project Manager: the โš™๏ธ operational portal that can be accessed both by direct clients and by partners. Within the portal you can find all the management of various projects and services.

๐Ÿ“ฌ Invitation-based user management.

If your reality already uses Cortex and its services, you will have a different onboarding ย in order to register. In order to improve management and access control to your environment it will be the administrator who will enter and invite new users. In this way, once you receive the invitation and enter a confirmation code you will have access to the features according to the permissions you have been assigned.

The following news is however only intended for those who are already CloudFire Partners and collaborate by embracing our vision and by reselling our solution.

โœ… Customer input

โ€

To ensure that you have maximum freedom to manage your clients, you now have the ability to distinguish between:

  • Autonomous customer ๐Ÿงฐ who has access to the Project Manager portal and the ability to operate independently on projects and services;
  • Managed client โ›”๏ธ who doesn't have access to the portal and is entirely dependent on you. You will be the partner in charge of activating and managing any services within the platform.

๐Ÿข NFR environment

In addition to having each client's various Project Manager Portal, each partner has now an environment for internal use.

The main difference concerns Silver and Gold level Partners. In fact, those who reach that level of partnership confirm their choice to embrace CloudFire's vision and values and have therefore access to dedicated resources. In particular, the environment available for internal use has a credit, defined in the Partner Program, that is renewed monthly. This allows an NFR, Not For Resale, environment to be used as at will for internal ๐Ÿ’ก or educational ๐Ÿ“Š use.
